2026 KAMM 22nd Annual Conference

Gaging the Future: Focus on Mitigation Technology

Technology is the application of scientific knowledge, tools, techniques, and processes to solve problems, achieve practical goals, and manipulate the human environment. It encompasses both tangible items (machinery, computers) and intangible methods (software, systems) used to improve lives and enhance capabilities.

KAMM’s 22nd annual conference highlights mitigation-relevant research, data collection and implementation, and use of both tangible and intangible technology across the various agencies, organizations, academic studies, and professional disciplines working to build more hazard-resilient communities.

CFMs earn CECs pre-approved by ASFPM. KY-APA members can receive CM credits.

Judge/Executives, Magistrates, County Commissioners, County Clerks, Jailers, and Sheriffs participating in the HB810 Training Incentive Program for elected officials can also earn 12 training hours pre-approved by DLG.
