KAMM Annual Golf Scramble

KAMM invites you to the annual golf outing as a Pre-Conference event. We have planned an exciting day of golf in a 2-man scramble format. KAMM will purchase lunch and refreshments. The public golf course at General Burnside Island State Park is located on an island surrounded by Lake Cumberland in Somerset, KY. Brian Ault, the designer of Dale Hollow Lake and Hidden Cove (both recognized by Golf Digest), designed this spectacular waterfront layout.

At 6,394 yards, the course features Zoysia fairways, bent grass trees, and greens. The natural beauty of large boulders highlighting the landscape at hole 6 will provide you with a beautiful view from the back tee. In 2009, this state park golf course received the 1st place Commonwealth Journal Readers’ Choice Award as the “Best Place to Play Golf.” General Burnside Island State Park golf course was also recognized in Kentucky Living magazine’s “2016 Reader’s Choice Awards” for being in the Hall of Fame for golf courses, securing the first-place position.
