L194 – Advanced Floodplain Concepts

This advanced floodplain management 4-day course is a dynamic and interactive course covering NFIP, Floodplain Rules and Regulations in depth, provides an organized training opportunity for local officials responsible for administering their local floodplain management roles and responsibilities, Letter of Map Change (LOMC) and Preparing for Post-Disaster Responsibilities.

Prerequisites: Recommended – E273, Managing Floodplain Development through the NFIP
When: September 19 – 22, 2016
Time: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (Lunch will NOT be provided)
Where: KDOW, 300 Sower Boulevard, Room 111, Frankfort, KY 40601
Trainers: Kentucky Division of Water Staff and FEMA staff
You must also submit a one-page form from FEMA to attain a Student ID.
