NFIP 101:  An Introduction to Floodplain Management Workshop

The three-hour workshop will present an overview of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) including the history of floodplain management.  You will learn what the NFIP is, the program goals, and how the NFIP accomplishes those goals.

National Weather Service (NWS) SKYWARN® Storm Spotter Training

By the end of the training, you will be a certified SKYWARN® Spotter for your respective NWS office, including learning storm structure, weather safety, what to report to the NWS, and the methods of how to report it.
