2021 KAMM Board Elections
KAMM Board positions are for two-years (2021 – 2023 conference). KAMM Board Positions include the five executive roles:
- Chair
- Vice-Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- At-Large
KAMM Overview: KAMM was formed in order to promote natural hazard mitigation and management in Kentucky. Our members represent local, state and federal officials, floodplain coordinators, planning and zoning officials, engineers, surveyors, GIS specialists, hydrologists, public safety and emergency managers.
Purpose of KAMM: To provide a forum for floodplain coordinators, emergency and mitigation managers, engineers, code enforcement officials and surveyors.
What you need to know
The Elected Board meets monthly. As a Board member, you will have an opportunity to mentor a KAMM Committee. In December, the Board meets for annual two-day winter retreat to strategize, set schedules, meet with committee leaders and to have fun.
KAMM is a non-profit 501 (c) (3), as of October 21, 2016.

Submit a nomination by September 15.
Elections at the Annual Conference
Announcing Nominees: Announcement of the nominees will be posted on the KAMM website before the conference.
Nominee Introductions: On the first day of the annual conference, KAMM Board candidates (nominees) will introduce themselves to the membership.
Voting: KAMM members will submit a ballot to vote on the Board members by 5:00 pm September 22.
The newly elected KAMM Board will be announced during the morning welcome, September 23.
