Announcing L0278: NFIP & the CRS Training in Kentucky

 

KDOW offering the FEMA field deployed ‘L0278: NFIP & the Community Rating System’ course

August 13  – 16, 2018

8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Kentucky Division of Water (KDOW)

This 4-day training course covers the Community Rating System (CRS), a nationwide initiative of FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).  The training will provide detailed info for the following:

  • Describe activities eligible for CRS credit.
  • Understand how a community joins the CRS program.
  • Identify how to modify an application to improve classification.

Lunch:  Class is from 8-4:30 with a 1-hr. lunch.  Lunch is not provided but there is a commissary in the building.
