KAMM’s 2021 Community Mitigation Grant

KAMM Grant Opportunity Closed March 31

KAMM is happy to announce for the second year, we received numerous great applications for the KAMM 2021 Community Mitigation Grant Program.   The deadline to submit was March 31, 2021.  Because we received so many fabulous applications, we will need extra time to review the applications and use our rubrics to select the best mitigation projects to fund.

We will let you know if your application is accepted for the grant proposal the week of April 26, 2021.

KAMM promotes natural hazard mitigation and disaster recovery as well as public awareness of floodplain, stormwater, and emergency management.

The KAMM Community Grant Program offers local communities an opportunity for assistance with a mitigation project.  The program allocates funds for projects that promote hazard mitigation and management or mitigation awareness in your community.

Community Grant Funding

Proceeds from the Community Grant fundraisers at our annual KAMM conference are used to fund our annual Community Grant.

Available 2021 grant funds range from $500 to $4,000.

Our Community Fundraiser and Silent Auction was a big success at the 2020 Conference!  We hope to build on that momentum in 2021!
